Site Policies

Return Policy

You may return, at your expense, any item except gas, electrical, or special order parts within 30 days of receiving your order. The item that you're returning cannot be used, installed or damaged in any way. Returnable items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. All requests for returning an item must be emailed to returns@coastparts.com. Please include your name, order number, and the reason for your return request.

Special Order Parts

When a part is listed as a "special order" this means we do not currently have stock in any of our locations. This part will have to be specially ordered from the manufacturer. If the manufacturer has available inventory we should see it in our warehouses within 10-14 business days. If the manufacturer does not have stock we will do our best to notify you when the estimated restock date will be. Once the manufacturer fulfills our order and it is received we will call you (for will call orders) / ship to you in 2-3 business days (for ship out orders). If your order is being shipped you will be emailed the tracking information.

Warranty

Our warranty with respect to any item sold is limited solely to such warranty as the manufacturer issues to us, and we make no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We are not responsible for labor charges or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. We will not assume any responsibility for improper diagnosis or installation.

Shipping

In stock orders will ship within 24 hours on weekdays. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or national holidays will be shipped on the following business day. In-stock orders will be shipped as soon as possible from one of our warehouses. Out of stock orders will be shipped when they become available. Typically within 4-14 days. We do not ship to PO Boxes.

If there are any issues with delivery for reasons out of our control (address provided to us is not accurate, issues within the shipping company, etc.) we are not responsible for shipping delays. We are not responsible for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as delayed items or lost packages. We are not responsible for delays in shipping due to acts of God that are out of our control, such as epic snowstorms, natural disasters, or any other extraordinary circumstance that causes unforeseen interference with carrier routes. If an exchange is desired, all shipping costs incurred are to be paid by the buyer. Please see our refund and exchange policy for more information.

 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Orders shipped to countries outside the U.S. may be subject to import fees, customs, duties, and taxes that are levied by the destination country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be, therefore the recipient is responsible for these fees. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. Customs clearance procedures may cause delays in shipment delivery times.

Privacy Policy

We are very dedicated to protecting your privacy. We will not rent, sell, loan, or share your personal information with any third party for advertising or solicitation without your express consent.

Security

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protection and encryption software to protect all order information, including your name, address, and credit card number. For SSL security to work you must use an SSL-enabled browser (any version 3 or higher browser should work). By using this site, transmitting information, and ordering products, you agree to not hold us liable for loss, theft, or unintentional disclosure of your personal information.

We may modify these policies at any time by posting a new version on this website. We recommend that you review the site policies periodically for any changes. We reserve the right to terminate all or any part of the website at any time without notice to you.

Online Ordering and Pricing

We strive for a 100% accurate site; however we do not guarantee that any content is complete or accurate including pricing and product specifications. If we discover any inaccuracies, errors or omissions we reserve the right to correct those errors at any time. We also reserve the right to discontinue offering any products, sales or other special offers at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order or sale for the following reasons: inaccuracies, limitations in product availability, errors in product or pricing information, suspected fraud, problems with method of payment, product size and/or shipping costs, or customer conduct is found to be in violation of California State or U.S. laws. If an order you placed is cancelled or changed, every reasonable effort to contact you will be made, and any charges for the items will be refunded.

Core Charges

Certain parts have "core charges" that are included in the price of the part. With the "core" being the part you are replacing. These core charges are issued by the manufacturer to encourage the return of the old core parts so that they can be remanufactured for future use. Core refunds are issued when the part that is being replaced is returned to us.

How to Return a Core

Simply return the old part along with the packing slip you receive from your new order.

We require that you ship the part back in the original shipping box. We also recommend that you use a shipping method that is either insured and/or uses tracking numbers, as we are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Once we have received and processed the returned core, we will issue a credit to the card that was used to place the original order. The credit will include the core price from the original purchase, along with any applicable sales tax. We do not issue refunds for shipping costs associated with core returns.
